This website provides information about Fintry Community Council. Community Councils are the most local tier of statutory representation in Scotland. They are intended to bridge the gap between local authorities and communities, and help to make public bodies aware of the opinions and needs of the communities they represent. The Community Council represents Fintry residents and aims to communicate the majority view on major issues affecting the village and our area to Stirling Council and other organisations.

We have had complaints from the Sports centre and Comunity Garden regards the amount of dog faeces left on surrounding ground or left behind in bags. If you use the grounds around the Sports center or area close to or in the community garden for walking your dog please respect the grounds, other walkers, and users of the Sports center or community garden by removing any dog waste, bins are avaibale in multiple locations. If you employ the services of a dog walker please ensure they remove any faeces.
Remeber it is a criminal offence not to clean up after your dog.
